BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Several Massachusetts cemeteries have refused to bury the remains of the Boston marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
Tsarnaev's uncle has suggested his nephew should be buried in Cambridge, his hometown in eastern Massachusetts.
Cambridge officials say they will reject Tsarnaev's body for burial and other Massachusetts cemeteries have refused the remains as well.
22News told Governor Deval Patrick about the Ohio man who offered his burial plot.
"It's a family matter and I think the family is going to step up and make a decision. There are a number of options, those are family decisions not government decisions."
Tsarnaev's mother wants her son buried in Russia where he was born.
It has been more than two weeks since Tamerlan Tsarnaev died following a dramatic gun battle with police in Watertown on April 19.
