BOSTON (WWLP) - The Boston Bruins faced off against the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, in a best-of-seven series, at the TD Bank Garden Arena in Boston.

FINAL SCORE: Chicago Blackhawks 6, Boston Bruins 5; in Overtime
The Bruins shut out the Blackhawks in Game 3, winning 2-0. Bruins tied up the series in Game 2, winning in overtime 2-1. Blackhawks had lead the series 1-0 over the Bruins after winning in triple-overtime in Game 1.
The Boston Bruins have now been to the Stanley Cup Finals 19 times, including the very first champion finals in 1927, winning six championships. The Chicago Blackhawks have been to the championship 12 times, winning four championships.
The Bruins last won the Stanley Cup Championship in the 2010-2011 season, beating the Vancouver Canucks. The Blackhawks won the season prier, 2009-2010 season, beating the Philadelphia Flyers.
In the Eastern Conference Playoffs the Bruins defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs (4-3) in round 1, the New York Rangers (4-1) in round 2, and the Pittsburgh Penguins (4-0) in the Eastern Conference Finals.
In the Western Conference Playoffs the Blackhawks defeated the Minnesota Wild (4-0) in round 1, the Detroit Red Wings (4-3) in round 2, and the defending champions Los Angeles Kings (4-1) in the Western Conference Finals.
