SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The New England Patriots lost against the Detroit Lions in the third pre-season game before the 2013 NFL Regular Season begins.

Next Game: The Patriots face off against the New York Giants on August 29th at 7:30PM on 22News. This will be the fourth and final pre-season game for the Patriots.
The Patriots have won two pre-season games already; defeating the Philadelphia Eagles, 31-22 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 25-21.
WWLP-22News broadcast three pre-season New England Patriots games. The first game was August 9th in Philadelphia when the Pats took on the Eagles, the second game was Thursday night, August 22nd at Ford Field with the Detroit Lions, and the final game is scheduled for August 29th at Gillette Stadium against the New York Giants. All three games begin at 7:30 p.m.
