FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WWLP) - The New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium, in Week 1 of the 2013 NFL Regular Season.

The Patriots finished the preseason 3-1, beating the NY Giants, 28-20, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 25-21, and the Philadelphia Eagles, 31-22. The Patriots did however suffer an embarrassing loss against the Detroit Lions, losing 40-9.
According to the Associated Press, Tom Brady is as curious as anyone in wanting to see the New England Patriots unveil their new-look group of receivers at Buffalo on Sunday.
"There are always challenges to really determine what kind of team you're going to be like," Brady said. "The mental toughness, the work ethic, the core principles and fundamentals of the game have not been tested under game conditions.
In the 2012 NFL Season, the Patriots ended the regular season with a 12-4 record, making it to the the AFC Championship. Unfortunately they lost to the Super Bowl Champions, the Baltimore Ravens, who played in the 2013 NFL season game opener, and lost to the Denver Broncos, 49-27.
