G.D. Judd & Sons has been supplying architects, landscapers, contractors and homeowners with decorative stone, wallstone, flagstone, hearth stone and many varieties of specialty stone from their quarry for more than 70 years. George D. Judd founded the company in 1938. The company is still family run by Fran and Linda Judd and sons, Albert and Phillip.

 Quarried Stone is graded for its various purposes. Stone ranging in thickness from two to three inches is used as “flagging” stone for walks, patios or areas surrounding swimming pools, fountains and other architectural landscaping purposes. Other decorative stone measuring three to four inches thick is used for doorsteps, hearths, mantels and veneer for structural facades.Retaining walls require stone varying in thickness from three to eight inches. Goshen Stone® can be readily hand split into smaller pieces by using a stone hammer for easier handling. Because it is easy to work with and because of rising building costs, Goshen Stone® has become an increasingly popular building and landscaping option. |
