(WWLP) - • A man is in the hospital after being shot early this morning in Springfield. Springfield Police say it happened around one o'clock in the morning in the middle of the road, near 162 Main Street.
• A new agreement will allow local police to investigate allegations of SNAP benefits fraud . The federal SNAP program was formerly known as Food Stamps.
• The identification card of a man suspected of attacking two women in South Boston was found at the scene of another alleged assault in the city last year.
• There will be more tours Sunday in Boston for what the U.S. Coast Guard says is the largest tall ship that flies the stars and stripes. Military officials say the cutter Eagle is 295 feet long and the only active square-rigger in U.S. government service.
