EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - Some of us are downright disgusted with all the rain we've had this past week and from what Adam informs us, we're in for at least the next few days.
You'll understand why Western Massachusetts took advantage of this nice day and got out to enjoy the dry weather. After all, a 22News weekend internet question revealed that the rain has made one out of four people feel miserable.
But visitors 22News spoke with at East Longmeadow's Heritage Park Sunday afternoon, were feeling a lot better than they were during the height of the intense rain just a few days ago.
Shawn Schipper of Chicopee told 22News, "Oh it's terrible drying the floors, It's been terrible, the mugginess, I take five or six shirts to work with me."
"This was really hot, humid earlier this week, It was crazy, I work outdoors, it was pretty nasty, I had to drink a lot of water," said Steve Foldz of East Longmeadow.
All of the Heritage park visitors 22News spoke with agreed this was one of the better days during the past week.
