People are looking forward to some warmer spring weather

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (WWLP) - April got off to a cold and snowy start and it hasn't warmed up much at all over the last couple of weeks but finally on Thursday temperatures felt more seasonable and it's only going to get warmer.

Temperatures over the next couple of days are expected to make it up into the 60s and 70s.

People are looking forward to the milder spring weather.

"Very much so, I'm looking forward to getting outside on the water, on the boat just really excited that spring is hopefully going to finally be here," said Michelle Ventura of Belchertown.

"Yes definitely looking forward to getting outside with my dogs and my son," said Emily Beacher of Belchertown.

Our average high temperature for this time of year should be in the upper 50s and while temperatures are expected to be above average over the next couple of days it doesn't look like the warm air will be sticking around all that long.
