(WWLP) - A native of Eastern Massachusetts, Ashley is thrilled to be working in her home state!
Ashley has had an interest in weather since she was young. While living in South Carolina, she watched the coverage of Hurricane Andrew as it made landfall in Florida in 1992. She instantly became hooked on weather, specifically tropical activity.
With a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from SUNY-Albany, Ashley started her weather career in New York City as a freelance weather producer for NY 1 News and Good Day New York. She eventually became a freelance on-air meteorologist for News 12 Connecticut. In 2007, Ashley took a full-time job as a primetime meteorologist in Eau Claire, WI.
During the summer, you can find her on the beach or playing a round of golf. In the winter, Ashley coaches the Holyoke High School swim team.
