The Hampden District Attorney’s Office unveiled a tank top that was found in the Brimfield woods area that may be connected to the Holly Piirainen homicide case.

The state featured a playing card on social media with the unsolved case of a Grafton victim.

There are a total of 88 unsolved homicides in Hampden County listed by the District Attorney’s office.

Monday marks the 26th anniversary of the disappearance of Holly Piirainen. The young girl was abducted in Sturbridge on August 5, 1993, and her body was found months later in Brimfield.

The family of Holly Piirainen, a 10-year-old Massachusetts girl killed 25 years ago, is holding a tip campaign in hopes of generating more information about her disappearance.

Tuesday marks 25 years since 10-year-old Holly Piirainen's body was found in a wooded Brimfield area after she went missing on August 5, 1993 in Sturbridge.

Holly’s family has set up a tip line and email to help gather information about her 24-year-old murder.

There are more than 80 unsolved murders in Hampden County.

Exactly 23 years after she disappeared, investigators still do not know who killed the 10 year-old girl.

On August 5, 1993, Holly Piirainen was last seen alive; walking to a Sturbridge home where she was planning on playing with some puppies.
