Alanna Flood joined the 22News team in April of 2022 after working as a co-host on WWLP’s Mass Appeal for three years.
She is a Massachusetts native who was raised in Medford. She attended Syracuse University, majoring in Speech Communications. Alanna comes to Mass Appeal from Lowell, where she was the host for LTC News, the city’s weekly lifestyle program. Prior to that, Alanna worked in public relations for The Castle Group and Regan Communications. She also was a print reporter and editor for Herald Media’s Community Newspaper Company.
Alanna’s parents moved to western Massachusetts 25 years ago to open a bed and breakfast in Conway. At that time, she became very familiar with the area. She loves everything the Pioneer Valley has to offer.
Alanna resides in Lowell with her husband and twin children, Patrick and Ainsley. In her free time, Alanna loves to cook, read, play tennis and ski.
