Amy Phillips is a 30-year veteran of 22News who has earned Associated Press and Sound Bites Awards for some of the station projects she has worked on. She began her career in 1993 as a videographer, editor, and live truck operator. Moving into the 2000’s, she added multi-media journalist and fill-in assignment editor to her list of responsibilities. Since 2013, Amy has been a digital content producer, and producer for the 22News I-Team and a weekly public affairs program, 22News InFocus.
Amy earned an Associate in Arts degree from Holyoke Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She is currently studying to be a yoga instructor.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, entertaining, still photography, ballroom dancing, yoga, archaeology, traveling, outdoor adventures, reading about history, and attending live music events.
