His favorite piece, which was honored with a “Best Feature” Award from the Florida Associated Press, centered on a grandmother fighting the city of Miami for the right to live in her treehouse with her pet raccoon, named Clooney. Additionally, he has worked as an associate sports producer for NBC South Florida, the Entertainment Host for NATPE at the historic Fontainebleau Hotel (where former World Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield put him in a headlock on camera), and he interned at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
In his free time, Danny enjoys performing in monthly improv shows with Happier Valley Comedy and serving on the Board of Directors at the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. He also loves shooting hoops, playing guitar, hiking Mount Tom, and watching Miami Hurricanes football.
