Duncan is a graduate of Hope College, a liberal arts school in Holland, MI, where he received a degree in Communication. At Hope, he was a member of the varsity swim team, anchored and produced the student broadcast news show while reporting for and serving on the editorial board of the student newspaper.
Duncan is a lifelong sports fan, supporting his home state teams the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings alongside a fierce fandom for the University of Michigan. He also has a soft spot for New England’s teams thanks to his grandfather and great grandfather who are longtime residents of South Hadley, MA.
