Jack Wu became a member of the 22News Storm Team in July of 2023.
His love for weather began when he anchored his high school announcements during his freshman year at Tappan Zee High School. Jack is a graduate of Arizona State University where he obtained a degree in Broadcast Journalism. He is currently finishing his meteorology degree at Mississippi State University. While at Arizona State, he became a member of the Asian American Journalists Association. Prior to arriving at 22News, Jack was a weather anchor/reporter at Arizona PBS.
He was born in Long Island, N.Y., and he moved to Phoenix, Ariz. in his sophomore year of high school.
When he’s not working on the forecast, Jack loves to play the guitar, travel, snowboard and watch baseball and basketball games. He’s a fan of the New York Yankees, the Knicks, the Giants, and the Rangers.
