Hampden County DA and Sheriff’s Office host St. Patrick’s after party

Holyoke St. Patrick's Parade

The St. Patrick’s Day celebrations continued after the parade in Holyoke.

Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni and Sherriff Nick Cocchi hosted their third annual St. Patrick’s Day Post-Parade Party at the Holyoke Boys and Girls Club Sunday afternoon.

The free gathering featured free food and drinks along with live music and Irish step dancers.

Gulluni told 22News, “It’s just fun to get everybody together to enjoy each others company and remember St. Patrick and what he did. So it’s a wonderful holiday all around to spend with our friends and our families and our colleagues.”

Sheriff Cocchi added, “It’s really about thanking the community for coming out, supporting the endeavors of the Sherrif’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office and just continuing to get together with them so they can talk to us about some of the needs in the community.”

Gullini said hosting the annual event immediately after the parade is a long-standing tradition between the Hampden County DA and the Sheriff’s Office.
