5 things Dr. King taught us about life

Mass Appeal

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is a legendary icon; a man who had a dream and inspired change around the world.
Pastor, Author and Relationship Coach Andrew Daubon joined us to share more about his impact.

1.    Life is more than what’s good for me, but what’s best for all of us.
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”
2.     Not all tension is bad, he became the creative tension that woke up America’s conscience on the issues of equality and justice for all.
3.    We can disagree peacefully. He spoke the truth in love.
“Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that”
4.    Heroes come in all colors. He was not only Black America’s hero, or America’s hero, he was humanity’s hero. He was the face of the forgotten and the voice of the unheard everywhere.
5.    He had the audacity to dream and the courage to wake up and chase them.
