The Police Unity Tour is a 320 mile bicycle ride from New Jersey to the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington D.C. Starting on May 9th, 2019 and finishing on May 12th, 2019. Over 2000 riders come together from across the country to ride in honor of the fallen heroes. The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour Ride is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial and Museum.
In the 20th year of his death, we are honored to be riding for Holyoke Officer John DiNapoli who gave the ultimate sacrifice, his life, while serving his community. All riders are past/ present officers and will wear a bracelet with the dedicated officer’s name for the 320 miles. At the Memorial, in a ceremony, each rider presents the bracelet to a family member of that special officer.
As part of the fundraising for The Police Unity Tour, each rider must pay an entry fee, pay for the bracelets and cover costs for our riding uniforms.
