ABOUT THE EVENT:
Belchertown will be celebrating ARTWEEK this year with ongoing programs throughout the 10 days. On April 27th, the Art Walk will provide several unique experiences throughout town for the community to participate in. Watch local artists at work, get a poem on demand, get your hands involved with making slime, paint a mythical creature, listen to music, watch a dance performance, color in a giant coloring book, sign up for one of many workshops or swing by the Stone House to see their presentation on Belchertown Clothing through the 1800’s to the early 20th Century. These are just some of the unique events being planned in addition to several more at businesses throughout town. It’s a fun filled day for the community that you will not want to miss! The week will culminate with a Grant reception that is open to the public on May 5th and will feature a type-in, live music, refreshments and more at the Clapp Memorial Library
