Bright Nights at Forest Park has been a cherished holiday tradition. Here with more information on this year’s display is Judy Matt, President of the Spirit of Springfield.

Bright Nights is the Northeast’s premier holiday lighting experience offering 3 miles of smiles!  There are more than 650,000 lights!  Visitors can stop at Santa’s Magical Forest (after Seuss Land) for rides for the kids (carousel, Santa Train and Holiday Tractors), snacks, souvenirs and Santa.  Santa will be there nightly through Christmas Eve.

This year, Bright Nights features a new Springfield Thunderbirds display.  The display, brilliantly lit with 3,708 LED bulbs, expands 70 feet across and 20 feet high.  It features two Springfield Thunderbirds players passing the puck and the team’s logo.

Bright Nights is located inside of Forest Park at 300 Sumner Avenue in Springfield. It is open daily through January 1 (Closed November 26 & 27)
Sunday through Thursday  – 5pm to 9pm
