~ Read the manual that came with the camera and use the modes and features as you read about them.

~ Watch YouTube tutorials specific to your camera.

~ Learn how to turn the camera off (lightning bolt icon) and rely on natural light.

~ Learn about ISO – when shooting in low light, instead of using the flash, raise the ISO.

~ Always hold the camera steady and take your time.

~ Have fun and apply photography to the other things (and people) you love.
