CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) – Sometimes we all need something to make us take a step back and see the world around us. It can help us to realize there’s a lot of beauty in the little things in our lives. Dave Dellecese, Blogger from TheDorkyDaddy.com joined us to share how we can all do our own “Day in the Life” Project – for parents or for families.
Picking one day to document your life in photos. Not necessarily of you, but of your life. Then, putting them together (whether as they are, using photo programs like Instagram, PicMonkey, etc) to create a slideshow. It makes people take a step back and see their world around them (often overlooked in that day to day routine) in a way they might not have before and realize there’s a lot of beauty in the little things in our lives. It’s sort of a visual pep talk, if you will, when you’re feeling caught up in the drudgery of routine.
I did one over the summer on the blog here: thedorkydaddy.com/2014/06/07/day-in-the-life-a-photo-essay/
