An afternoon concert of delightful Baroque music. This performance features J.S. Bach’s playful “Wedding” Cantata (BWV 202) which celebrates the arrival of spring combined with the joyful occasion of a wedding. Also on the program is the Oboe Sonata in C minor by Giovanni Platti, a contemporary of Bach’s, as well as selections from the “Schemelli Songbook,” a collection of favorite devotional songs from Bach’s era. Presented by Gateway City Live. Free and open to the public.
