Kids can try Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions at the Berkshire Museum

Mass Appeal

Experience the genius of artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci! Visitors of all ages are invited to step inside a wooden battle tank, marvel at his flying machines, and test many more of his inventions. It’s happening now at the Berkshire Museum, and Craig Langlois joins us with the details.

This interactive exhibit includes 40 meticulously crafted, full-size mechanisms constructed from designs in the Renaissance thinker’s notebooks.

Visit the exhibition during February vacation week to enjoy Ten Days of Play! This exciting festival of child-directed play challenges children of all ages to build towering structures, break and make in the Tinker lab, and more. Join us for playtime, gallery programs, hands-on Aquarium experiences, and special performances every day.

For more information, visit or call (413) 443-7171. The Berkshire Museum is located at 39 South Street in Pittsfield.
