Local children can earn a spot to play at Augusta National in The Drive Chip and Putt qualifier

Junior golfers from ages 7 to 15 can try their skills to compete for a spot in next year’s Augusta National tournament. Here to tell us more is John Steffen, PGA Head Professional at Twin Hills Country Club.

This is a local qualifier for the Drive Chip and Putt competition. Approximately 100 junior golfers will be present at Twin Hills Country Club to try to advance to the sub regional qualifier and then the regional qualifier, then on to Augusta National during the Masters for the National competition. Junior golfers from ages 7 to 15 are eligible, there is no charge to compete!! 3 golfers advance from each age group advance from the Twin Hills site to the sub regional, 2 golfers per group advance from their to the regional, and 1 from that site goes to Augusta National!!
