Pet of the Week: Female Chihuahua named Brownie

Mass Appeal

(Mass Appeal) – It’s time for Mass Appeal’s pet of the week. Today we’re introducing you to a female brown Chihuahua, aptly named Brownie, who needs a good loving home.

Lee Chambers is here from Dakin Humane Society with information on this little girl.

Name: Brownie – Hero Adopter Needed
Breed: Chihuahua
Age: 13 years old
Sex: Female
Color: Brown

Meet Brownie. This mature little lady is still pretty active when she isn’t busy cuddling! She is affectionate and enjoys playing, especially with her plushy toys. Some of her favorite things include head pets, ear rubs, bacon and chicken. Like most pooches, she is intrigued by outdoor cats, birds and squirrels. She certainly does not act like her age to say the least. Brownie lived with the same guardian her entire life. Sadly, she is moving to a place where pets are now allowed. Brownie needs to be an only pet in an adult only household. She can’t live with dogs, cats or children. Her ideal home would have just her as the princess! Brownie has a cough that we have done tests and treatments for, but we have not been able to know for sure what is causing the cough. It doesn’t bother her too much and she acts just like she does in her video. Her adopter can monitor the cough for any worsening or changes, or pursue further medical care with their veterinarian.
