Tips to stay “in the moment” during the busy holiday season

Sometimes we get so busy and overwhelmed during the holidays that we can lose track of what’s really important; our family and friends. Dr. Rob Robinson, clinical director of Family Care Counseling Associates brings us four tips to practice mindfulness to help reduce stress.

1. Start by making a commitment and giving yourself the gift of PRESENCE this time of year.

2. Practice bringing PRESENCE to a friend or family member.

3. Bring PRESENCE to the beginning of each new day.

4. Use PRESENCE to heal pain from the past.
