The WIC nutrition program provides healthy foods for pregnant women and children under 5 years old. Here to show us how to use some of those healthy foods is Flor Diaz.
WIC Day Celebration will be held on May 2nd from 1-4 PM at Holyoke Heritage State Park. It’s free to attend and all are welcome.
To make the strawberry parfait, you need:
8 oz Low-Fat vanilla yogurt, any brand
8 small frozen or fresh strawberries, whole or diced
*1/8 tsp of cinnamon
2 tbsp of Oatmeal
1. In a small mixing bowl, mix together yogurt and cinnamon to your liking.
2. Layer 1 oz of Vanilla yogurt mix in a mason jar or recycled baby jar.
3. Add 2 strawberries, whole-if frozen or diced-if fresh.
4. Add a second layer of 1 oz yogurt mix and top off w/ uncooked oatmeal.
