HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Holyoke Fire Department was called to help occupants out of a head-on crash after a driver drove the wrong way to enter I-91.
According to the Holyoke Fire Department, at around 2 a.m. crews were called to exit 15A northbound on I-91 for a report of a head-on crash. A driver went the wrong way up the exit ramp causing an accident.
The fire crews had to use hydraulic tools to help the occupants out of the vehicles and two people were taken to the hospital. The highway has since reopened.
