Bicyclist killed in downtown Holyoke Friday morning

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Holyoke Police have confirmed that a man riding a bicycle was killed in downtown Holyoke Friday morning.

Police Lt. David Fornier told 22News, according to the police log, the deadly accident occurred in front of 84 Sergeant Street downtown across from the Parsons Paper Mill complex.

The bicycle had collided with a car, killing the man on the bike.

22News will continue to get information regarding the identities of the victim and the driver.
