HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – A water rescue operation was executed in the Connecticut River on Friday evening, jointly carried out by Holyoke and Chicopee crews.
According to Holyoke Fire Captain David Rex, crews efficiently managed to rescue two individuals, one of whom was incapacitated, from a disabled boat in the Connecticut River. Both individuals were safely brought to the shoreline in the vicinity of Springdale Park. Medical attention is being provided to one of the parties for any potential injuries.
