NORTHFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Multiple fire crews were sent to 5 Pine Street for a house fire.

According to the Bernardston Fire Department, at 8:56 p.m., crews were sent to 5 Pine Street for a two-alarm house fire. When the crews arrived, they tagged a hydrant on Highland Ave and dropped a 4″ supply line to feed Northfield’s Engine and Ladder. Other crews went inside to help Northfield to put out the fire.

The fire was contained to the third floor of the house and crews remained at the fire until 2:00 a.m. on Saturday.
