PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) – A Palmer woman was arrested after she allegedly stabbed a man at a home on Old Warren Road Monday.

Hampden County District Attorney’s Office spokesman Jim Leydon identified the suspect as 27-year-old Kelsey Gaulin.

Leydon said Massachusetts State Police assigned to the D.A.’s office were called in to help Palmer police due to the severity of the victim’s injuries. Leydon added that the victim had to be taken to Baystate Medical Center for treatment, and is likely going to survive.

Gaulin is scheduled to be arraigned in Palmer District Court Tuesday on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault and battery.
