HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Two people were injured Wednesday after a shooting in Holyoke on Maple and Franklin Street.

Holyoke Police Captain Matthew Moriarty told 22News police were called to shots fired in the area of Maple Street around 4:30 p.m. The area was secured and officers found evidence of a shooting. They also learned two victims were taken to a local hospital. Moriarty said a man’s head was grazed and a woman was shot in the rear.
