A car show in Chicopee Sunday helped benefit a good cause.

The Oregon Sportsmen’s Club is hosting a car show on Lombard Road in Chicopee to raise money for the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Springfield.

The Oregon Sportsmen’s Club car show includes a variety of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and public safety vehicles.

Admission is free for spectators, or you can bring your car as part of the show for $10.

Organizers said this car show includes food, raffles, as well as trophies for the top 20 vehicles.

Proceeds for this event will benefit the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Springfield.

Car show organizer Richard Gebo told 22News he wanted to give back to Shriner’s for helping his brother and daughter.

Tony Scorzafava, a participant in the show added, “A lot of the car shows we go too are for good benefits like cancer or Shriner’s hospital, and its just good to help out the community in any way we can.”

Trophies were awarded for the top 20 vehicles at the end of the show. This was the third time the Oregon Sportsmen Club hosted the Shriners’ Car Show.
