Chalice of Salvation brings Easter mass into local homes

Those unable to attend church this Easter Sunday invited the “Chalice of Salvation” into their homes.

There wasn’t a vacant pew at the bishop’s church St Michael’s Cathedral in Springfield for Sunday morning’s Easter mass.

The director of the cathedral, Monsignore Christopher Connelly celebrated mass for the large gathering. He said, “By divine teaching, we dare to say our father who art in heaven hallowed by thy name.”

The Chalice of Salvation church service airs every Sunday morning at 10:00am on 22News, as it has for several generations.
