HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – A man wanted in Ludlow for stealing a car with a child inside Sunday afternoon, was arrested the next day in Holyoke.
Ludlow Police Sgt. Luis Tulik told 22News investigators identified 25-year-old Daniel Buck of Chicopee as the man who stole a car from a Shell Station in Ludlow with an 8-year-old inside. Sgt. Tulik said Buck ditched the kid a block later, and made off with the vehicle.
Monday night, a driver in Holyoke spotted the alleged stolen car at the Kmart in Holyoke, called police, and tailed the car to the Barnes and Noble, where police ultimately made the arrest. Buck was arrested, as was his alleged accomplice, Jenea Rios of West Springfield.
Buck will be arraigned in Holyoke on Tuesday, and then taken to Palmer District Court. Sgt. Tulik said Buck is accused of stealing 2 cars in the past.
