Clear The Shelters: Gracie has been at Dakin Humane Society the longest

22News is partnering with local animal adoption agencies to Clear The Shelters this Saturday.

Meet Gracie. She’s been at Dakin Humane Society the longest, waiting for a home.

According to the shelter, Gracie is 9-years-young and has been at the shelter since July 17th. Her people were moving and they couldn’t bring her along with them.

When Gracie is comfortable in her surroundings, her shyness goes away and she is quite affectionate and interactive. She’s not meant to be in a household with other cats, however, but she has lived with dogs before and been all right. Older kids are best, as young ones overwhelm her a bit.

If you’re interested in giving Gracie a forever home, head over to Dakin Humane Society this Saturday August 18.
