WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – 22News is partnering with local animal adoption agencies to Clear The Shelters this Saturday.

Meet Nakia. She’s been at Westfield Regional Animal Shelter the longest, waiting for a home.

According to the shelter, Nakia is 13-years-young and is very social. She has early renal failure so she will require extra love, special food, and regular vet visits.

Nakia’s ideal home would be one without any other pets “so that she would enjoy all of your lovings.” She’s also very active and loves to chase her toys!

If you’re interested in giving Nakia a forever home, head over to Westfield Regional Animal Shelter this Saturday August 18. Other participating shelters include Dakin Humane Society and Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center in Springfield.
