American Airlines flight forced to return to Bradley International Airport

A Chicago-bound flight was forced to return to Bradley International Airport Tuesday morning.

American Airlines told 22News, flight 2250 to Chicago O’Hare International Airport took off from Bradley at 10:47 a.m.

The Boeing 737-800 plane had 93 passengers on board and 6 crew members, when it was forced to turn around due to an odor in the cabin.

The flight returned safely to Bradley at 11:01 a.m.

American Airlines said their maintenance team is currently evaluating the issue.

Bradley Spokesperson Alisa Sisic said the return had no impact on operations at the airport.
