1,200+ bags of heroin seized, woman arrested in West Springfield drug trafficking investigation


Police in West Springfield seized more than 1,200 bags of heroin on Monday when they arrested an East Longmeadow woman after a long drug trafficking and distribution investigation. 

According to the West Springfield Police Department, detectives saw Amanda Daniele make several drug deals in the area of Route 5 and Highland Avenue within the last week. 

Police said Daniele was arrested on Monday after they saw her make a drug transaction in the same area.

Detectives allegedly found 415 bags of heroin, 31 individually wrapped bags of cocaine, and $1,003 in cash on Daniele. Inside of her car, detectives also allegedly found 800 more bags of heroin that had been stamped “Grease Monkey” and “Bad Bunny.”
