Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the lower Forest Park neighborhood of Springfield Sunday morning.
According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, police found a man on Oakland Street shortly after 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
Walsh said the 25-year-old victim, who has not been identified, was unresponsive and taken to Baystate Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
The Springfield Police Department is looking into what led up to the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
