$30K reward for information leading to arrest of Connecticut murder suspect


NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WWLP) – The U.S. Marshals and the New Haven Police Department are offering a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a Connecticut murder suspect who has ties to Massachusetts.

Forty-two year-old Tramaine Marquise Poole is wanted in connection with the May 31 shooting death of  28-year-old Tyekqua Nesbitt and a shooting incident on May 7 in which he allegedly attempted to kill his estranged wife.

According to the U.S. Marshal’s Service, Nesbitt’s two young children were in the car with her when she was shot and killed. The two May incidents are believed to be connected.

Poole has ties to Fitchburg, Massachusetts; Jersey City, New Jersey; New York City; North Carolina and South Carolina; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Philadelphia; Arizona and Georgia.

He is described as a black man with medium complexion, who is 5’11” tall and approximately 160 pounds. Poole has tattoos on his arms, and may be wearing a dreadlocks wig as a disguise.

If you have any information, you’re asked to call the U.S. Marshals at 1-877-926-8332. The public is advised not to approach Poole, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
