Call for possible drug activity led to arrest in Chicopee

Crime

A woman was arrested in Chicopee Tuesday night after a caller reported possible drug activity on Coolidge Road to police.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News officers went to the location and found 30-year-old Jennifer Poulin, of Plainville, Connecticut, in a car. She was taken into custody after it was learned she had a warrant from Dudley District Court.

Wilk said officers found a crack pipe with residue on Poulin before putting her in the cruiser. At the station, Wilk said a brown paper towel fell from her pant leg with a rock of what’s believed to be crack cocaine inside.

She’s been charged with possession of a Class B drug and was released on $50 bail.
