A Canadian man was sentenced Friday after he enticed two children in Hampshire County to send sexually explicit content to him and produce child pornography over an online website.

According to U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling, 35-year-old Justin Carl Wong of Ontario was sentenced to 15 years in prison and 10 years of supervised release.

Lelling said in December of 2012 Wong used a Voxer account to talk to an 8-year-old girl and 10-year-old girl in Hampshire County. Wong initially sent messages to the 10-year-old offering to be her “pretend boyfriend” to help her “get a boyfriend in real life.”

He then went on to ask for sexually explicit pictures from the child, using psychological pressure and bullying after she refused calling her names like “loser” and telling her she would live a “lonely life.”

Lelling said eventually the girl gave in to Wong’s request and sent sexually explicit photos of herself and an 8-year-old girl. Wong then went on to communicate with and demand specific explicit photos from the 8-year-old who also eventually sent pictures.

Wong has been in custody since was arraigned in August of 2017 and pleaded guilty in July to 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
