Chicopee police looking to identify persons of interest in bike theft

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee police are looking to identify a group of young men who are persons of interest in a case of bike theft.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News the group rode to the Rite Aid on St. James Avenue on their bikes on August 24. After leaving the store, Wilk said they stole another bike that was outside.

“One party got on his bike, took the other, and rode away with both,” Wilk said.

If you recognize the young men, you’re asked to call Chicopee police detectives at 413-594-1740 and reference case 4020.
