CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee police are looking to identify a man accused of stealing items from an unlocked car.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News the incident happened after the suspect made a purchase inside Arnold’s Meats on Grattan Street Friday.

Wilk said once he got back to the parking lot, he realized a car parked next to his white SUV was unlocked.

“So, he decides to open that persons car door, and takes items, not belonging to him, and then drives away,” Wilk said.

If you recognize the suspect seen in the surveillance video above, you’re asked to call Chicopee police detectives at 413-594-1742 or message them on Facebook.
