The first robbery occurred at the Basics Plus Mini Mart on East Street, at around 6:30 Sunday morning. The suspect flashed a handgun.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News the suspect, who was wearing a white mask and a hoodie, got away in a blue vehicle.

Surveillance video from outside of the Mini Mart shows the suspect getting out of his car without his mark on; moments later, after the robbery, they briskly walk back to the car and take off.
