Chicopee police say a week-old message on Snapchat has been causing worry in the city, though there is no threat.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News that the department received word of some kind of Snapchat threat which referenced “CHS,” the common abbreviation for Chicopee High School.

Police looked into it, however, and discovered the threat was more than a week old, and wasn’t referencing a local school at all.

An arrest in the case has been made thousands of miles away, in Clovis, New Mexico.

Wilk says that if you see the chat, do not share it.
