CATSKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A man accused of killing a Catskill man and then concealing the victim’s body in his own home was arraigned on Tuesday.
Appearing in jailhouse orange, Carols Graham was arraigned in Greene County Court on eight felonies, including murder and concealment of a human corpse.
DA Joseph Stanzione would not divulge a motive but alleges Graham killed his Catskill neighbor, Brandyn Foster.
It’s a horrific crime. This is a situation where Brandyn Foster was shot to death and then his body was hidden.”
The DA claims Foster’s ex-girlfriend Sade Knox, who was living with Graham, helped conceal Brandyn’s body inside their Catskill home.
“They moved him into the crawl space buried him in the crawl space and then basically replaced the floor of the bedroom and left his body underneath the home,” Stanzione said. “So they were sleeping right above his body. It’s a horrific situation.”
Brandyn’s remains were discovered during a police search in February.
The DA alleges Knox, Graham and a friend concocted a story that Brandyn was running from personal troubles and even went so far as to dump his vehicle in a parking lot outside a Connecticut casino. They didn’t figure on security cameras capturing their every move.
“These individuals were picked up on those video cameras. Video cameras at various stops going out to Connecticut. So they weren’t able to get away with the lie that they Brandyn drove out to Connecticut.
No one was home when we knocked on Knox’s Kingston home. She’s out on bail after pleading not guilty to several charges including grand larceny and concealing a human corpse.
Graham was remanded to jail without bail.
